Mimi Sullivan, artisan and creator of Bloom, began her journey in fashion early on. Mimi attended Moore College of Art and Design and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, ultimately earning a degree in Fashion Design. Her first taste of working in the design industry started when she was only 18, while attending school full-time. Mimi assisted Sunny Chapman, an indie-jewelry designer who crafted post-punk aestheticism. During her junior and senior years, Mimi began commuting to New York City twice a week to work part-time for acclaimed fashion designer, Kay Unger. Prior to launching her business, she channeled her creativity through her work as a designer in the fashion and jewelry industry for 13 years, living in Philadelphia, LA and NYC.
